SEM 1 Project 4A : Site Analysis

Based on Project 4A (Site Analysis), you are required to select 1 site (area) to design a Folly for public usage (student of USM/USM KPM). The proposal of the Folly should accommodate between 4 and 5 persons at a time. Students are allowed to include other facilities and amenities that deems appropriate and necessary as long as it’s within the site area.

Each student is to work on submitting a total of FOUR (4) A1 size presentation boards in landscape orientation. The submission of through planning (site analysis and synthesis), architectural, and interior drawings (sketches, design statement, developed final design, perspectives); and a simple drawing of the technicalities, and building services detailing (selection of materials and construction methods chosen).

The proposed design MUST CONSIDER THE ALL ELEMENT IN THE SITE ANALYSIS (PROJECT 4A) i.e: climate condition, soil condition, accessibility, topography and etc.
